Omega 3

The PIVKA chicken with Omega 3 has an increased content of unsaturated fatty acids. Moreover, Omega 3 and Omega 6 are properly balanced in this meat, which is essential for our health.

The magical power of nature for longevity has been thoroughly explored by the Eskimos. They mostly ate wild salmon and other kinds of fish, which are rich in unsaturated fatty acids named after the Greek letter Ω. Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids are important for our cardiovascular system as well as for the development of the brain and eyesight in children. These acids were also well known by our grandmothers who once used fish oil to help our mothers grow. Fish, which is only rarely on our menu today, is not the only source of Omega 3. Omega 3 can also be found in linseed, which is added to the mixture of cereals used to prepare the Pivka chicken.
